What We Can Help With

Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app:

  1. Open LaunchVote.
  2. Tap Account at the bottom of the home screen.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and associated data will be permanently removed.

If Deletion Fails

If you see a message asking you to sign out and sign back in:

  1. Tap Sign Out in the Account screen.
  2. Sign back in with the same method you used before (email, Google, or Apple).
  3. Go back to Account and try Delete Account again.

If you are still unable to delete your account, contact us at the email above and we will assist you.

Troubleshooting

If something isn’t working as expected, try these steps:

  1. Update the app — make sure you have the latest version from the App Store.
  2. Check your internet connection — LaunchVote requires an internet connection to load sessions, suggestions, and votes.
  3. Sign out and sign back in — this can resolve stale session or authentication issues.
  4. Confirm your join code — join codes are 6 characters, uppercase letters and numbers. Make sure there are no extra spaces.
  5. Allow location access — if you want to search for nearby places, make sure location permission is enabled in your device’s Settings.
  6. Restart the app — close LaunchVote completely and reopen it.
